To further demonstrate HOSTAR Group’s corporate ethos of courage, perseverance and dedication, as well as the healthy, vibrant and upbeat spirit of all employees, the Group recently hosted its inaugural Basketball Tournament. Taking sports as a carrier, the event aims to enrich corporate culture and enhance team cohesion.
The tournament consisted of four exciting matches: Wudi vs. Wuming, Langwang vs. TMLX, Wuming vs. TMLX , and Wudi vs. Langwang.
Prior to the kickoff, all players actively conducted warm-up exercises, full of enthusiasm and competitive spirit. At the referee’s whistle, the players instantly got into full competitive mode. Energetic and agile on the court, they delivered one breathtaking confrontation after another, earning continuous cheers and applause from the audience.
Throughout every match, all players went all out, competed tenaciously and collaborated flawlessly, fully presenting the charm and passion of basketball and highlighting the proactive sportsmanship of HOSTAR employees.
As the intense final round unfolded, the tournament reached its white-hot intensity, with cheers and encouragement from the audience growing increasingly fervent.
The championship showdown between Wudi Team and Langwang Team was particularly intense. Boasting a superior lineup, Wudi Team quickly secured a 3-0 lead, putting Langwang Team under immense pressure. After a brief timeout, Langwang Team fine-tuned its offensive strategy and staged a strong counterattack. Meanwhile, Wudi Team remained calm and steady, with exquisite layups winning rounds of applause. As the final buzzer sounded for the quarter, Wudi Team celebrated their well-earned victory in the first quarter.
Nevertheless, Langwang Team never backed down. Sustaining a tenacious fighting spirit throughout the game, the players focused intently on every defensive play and counterattack, seizing every scoring opportunity. Langwang Team staged a strong start in the second quarter, notching a consecutive 3-0 score, making the contest an intensely exciting and nail-biting showdown!
In the subsequent stage, Wudi Team quickly regained its rhythm with precise passes, solid blocks, sharp drives and accurate shots. The players’ agile moves broke through successive defensive lines. In the final moments of the game, they sank two consecutive baskets to overtake their rivals and secure the final victory. Congratulations to Wudi Team for claiming the championship, Langwang Team for securing the runner-up position, and TMLX Team for winning the third place.
